Perry County Pathfinders hold fundraiser for outdoor recreation unveil trail rebranding

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by over 100 people, with many more in attendance at the park.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening of the Perry County Pathfinders’ new trail system, which spans over 10 miles of scenic trails. The trails, designed to showcase the natural beauty of the area, offer a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Key features of the trail system include:

    The event was held on a Saturday, and the weather was perfect for a trail run. The trail system is 12 miles long and features a mix of hard and soft surfaces, including dirt, gravel, and sand.

    The Benny Goat Trails offer a unique and varied experience for trail runners. The trails are designed to take runners through a mix of scenic landscapes, including forests, fields, and wetlands.
