The event was held at the Penobscot Valley High School in Bangor, Maine.
The Concept Behind Cabin Fever Reliever
The Cabin Fever Reliever event was created to address the challenges of winter in Maine. The state’s harsh winters can make it difficult for people to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. The event aimed to provide an opportunity for people to learn about and experience the outdoors, even in the midst of winter. The event featured a variety of activities, including: + Guided fishing trips + Outdoor education workshops + Nature walks + Campfire cooking demonstrations
The Event Itself
The event was held at the Penobscot Valley High School in Bangor, Maine. The school’s auditorium was transformed into an outdoor classroom, with tables and chairs set up to resemble a campsite. The atmosphere was lively and engaging, with attendees of all ages participating in the various activities. The event was free to attend, and attendees were encouraged to bring their own gear, such as fishing rods and camping equipment. The event featured a variety of food options, including hot chocolate and snacks. The event was led by experienced outdoor educators and guides, who provided instruction and guidance throughout the day.
The Impact of the Event
